Lilian Farahani – NOMAD
De Nederlands-Iraanse sopraan Lilian Farahani studeerde cum laude af aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag en de Dutch National Opera Academy in Amsterdam. In het seizoen 2023/2024 zal ze zowel bij De Nationale Opera als bij San Francisco Opera de rol van The Bride vertolken in Kaija Saariaho's opera 'Innocence'; een rol waarin ze vorig seizoen al te horen was in het Royal Opera House in Londen en in 2021 op het Festival d'Aix-en-Provence.
De afgelopen jaren zong Lilian op de grote Nederlandse podia bij gezelschappen als De Nationale Opera, Opera Zuid en Dutch Touring Opera, maar ook in de operahuizen van Nancy, Bern, Essen, het Festival d'Aix-en-Provence en de Internationale Maifestspiele Wiesbaden. In 2023 maakte ze haar debuut in het Royal Opera House in Londen.
